Salary: Supply day rate £145-£210
Class Cover, are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Computer Science Teacher to join a dynamic and forward thinking school within the Portsmouth area. The successful candidate will have a passion for computer science alongside the ability to inspire and engage pupil across all key stages. This position is for 5 days a week, to start after half term on a long-term supply basis. There is opportunity for this to be a full time position for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and challenging computer science lessons to KS3, KS4 and KS5.
- Assess, monitor and record students’ progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic development.
- Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations.
- Participate actively in developmental meetings, curriculum planning and ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, ECTs are welcome to apply.
- Experience in teaching computer science at secondary level, including A-Level.
- Excellent communication skills
