About Us:
We are a well-established pre-school located near Thakeham, dedicated to providing a nurturing and engaging environment for young children. We are now looking for a passionate and experienced Manager to join our team in January 2025.
The Roles:
- Manager: Lead and oversee the day-to-day running of the pre-school, ensuring high-quality care and education for all children, compliance with EYFS and Ofsted standards, and a supportive environment for staff.
- Deputy Manager: Support the Manager in delivering excellent standards of care and stepping into leadership responsibilities when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee curriculum planning and implementation (Manager role).
- Support and lead the team, promoting professional development.
- Maintain and improve the pre-school’s policies and procedures.
- Ensure all safeguarding and health & safety standards are upheld.
- Develop positive relationships with children, parents, and the community.
Requirements:
- Relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent (Level 5+ preferred for the Manager role).
- Proven leadership or supervisory experience in an Early Years setting.
- Strong understanding of EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted requirements.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Passion for creating a warm, stimulating environment for children.
